Butterfly
In July 2022, we implemented the Butterfly Project at the DBBC - the aim was and is to teach young people about difficult historical topics such as the Holocaust in a playful way - and to give a voice to those who died in the Holocaust, including 1.5 million children, each child paints a ceramic butterfly, a symbol of hope and resilience.
Due to the current situation, we have expanded our artwork from 2022. In addition to tolerance, freedom, responsibility and respect, we have added an "is now" to the "never again" and want to send a signal.
