Concept

Every house needs bricks that build on each other, a clockwork needs cogs that interlock. The Dietrich Bonhoeffer Education Campus has a bit of both. The focus is on young people with their natural curiosity for new things. This is exactly where we want to pick them up and give you as parents the feeling that you have done everything right when it comes to education.

We give great importance to teaching future skills within the campus. These include the use of digital media as the fourth cultural technique (alongside reading, writing and arithmetic), collaborative forms of learning and international partnerships.

The Campus

We live together - there is a canteen, a lounge, a food truck and all sports training facilities on campus (Mietraching Sports Park) or in the immediate vicinity with a shuttle service.

Digitalisation + digitality

All pupils work with laptops ("bring your own device") and learn in classrooms with interactive touchscreens. We utilise modern ways and possibilities of the digital world. Both in sport and in school.

Focus on individuality

All-day school

The all-day school concept of the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Bildungscampus offers parents reliable and pedagogically sound care for their children.

This gives pupils much more time to develop their skills and interests. We encourage this through our wide range of individualised activities in the areas of sport, but also technology/science, social, creative, music, languages and many more activities that encourage pupils to discover and develop their talents.

Private time is private time

Thanks to the special structure of the teaching units, pupils learn, practise and consolidate the subject matter at school. As a result, there is usually no homework. They can also prepare for exams under pedagogical guidance. After school, they can devote themselves entirely to their free time.

Day structure

Lessons start at 08:05 and end at 16:05. On Fridays, lessons end at 13:25.

The diagram shows an example of the pupils' daily routine. The timing of the Indi programmes varies depending on the year group.

  • 3 double lessons (2 x 50 minutes each)
  • 100 minutes a day for individualisation offers
  • Lunch in the bistro or self-selected
  • Within the year groups, all pupils have the same daily structure

Responsible digital

Digitalisation and digitality

Working with electronic media has become an integral part of today's working world. The Dietrich Bonhoeffer Bildungscampus is also facing up to these requirements and is preparing pupils accordingly by integrating technology into lessons. Our main aim is to use a sensible mix of "analogue" and "digital" technology.

Both handwriting and the use of digital media result in modern learning skills. Recognising limits and opportunities - for us, this includes the independent use of both technologies and methods. We are breaking new ground here.

All pupils work with laptops ("bring your own device") and learn in classrooms with interactive touchscreens. We utilise modern ways and possibilities of the digital world in both sport and school.

4×100 minutes per week

Individualisations

In addition to school-based training, we offer time slots for individualisation directly in the classroom: four 100-minute units per week. Two lessons per day.

Pupils can choose between courses in sports, but also technology/MINT, social, creative, music, languages and many more activities that encourage them to discover and develop their talents.

We value uniqueness and specifically promote individuality. At the same time, we emphasise a sense of community. That is why we have created a modern living space on campus that is orientated towards the individual talents and needs of the young people entrusted to us.

Realising potential

Tutoring

Our aim is to help our pupils achieve the best possible school-leaving qualification. They can receive targeted support and improve their performance through individualised support programmes.

In addition to the use of modern technologies such as learning platforms and digital learning materials, we provide our students with targeted support in school matters, for example through holiday support before exams, exam simulations and presentation training.

We regularly review and adapt our programmes to ensure that they meet the current needs of our students.

No degree without a connection

Perspective

No graduation without a connection - with this goal in mind, we want to prepare our students optimally for the time after graduation. Vocational orientation begins at school and our targeted support programmes support the transition.

Career orientation + career prospects

  • Internships
  • Visiting trade fairs
  • Cooperation with the Federal Employment Agency
  • Cooperation with the Rosenheim Chamber of Crafts
  • IHK Scouts present their training occupations

Of course, secondary school pupils also have the opportunity to transfer seamlessly to our specialised secondary school after graduation or to obtain the international Abitur at our Cambridge International School.

International exchange programme

  • Building an international network
  • Mutual cultural exchange
  • Reference school in the RTI Education Programme (first German school alongside Norway, Sweden, England, India)
  • Founder and sponsor of the programme: Prince Kunwar Singh Ranawat (India, Udaipur)
  • Further exchange programmes will follow

Ready, Steady, Go!

Interested in our campus?

We offer around 500 pupils from Bad Aibling, the Rosenheim area and far beyond the opportunity to pursue their individual goals and at the same time obtain the best possible personal school-leaving qualification. We want to make it as easy as possible to get started.

That's why you can register with us at any time - even during the school year. If you are unsure about the right type of school, we will of course be happy to help and advise you.

It is also easy to switch between school types at a later date. Pupils stay on campus, keep their friends and their social environment and parents don't have to make any changes either.

We offer campus tours or trial days to get a taste of what it's like, as well as trial training sessions for athletes.

Our students come not only from Bad Aibling, but also from the catchment area of Rosenheim and beyond. This diversity enriches our school life and promotes lively interaction.
